Journey Back to Health, Week 2: A bit more energy

It hasn't been a bad week, with the exception of continued sleep issues and some other stuff. Not sure whether it is lingering side-effects, or the fact that I am approaching 50.

I did the shot of Neupogen last Friday morning and had good level of energy for Christmas Eve services and Christmas Day. It turned out that I needed it. I do another shot on Friday and then I'm out, unless Dr. Scott prescribes some more. He told me to check back after the second shot.

I forgot to mention that for the past few weeks I had a weird rash that was likely associated with the treatment; however, I kept laying the cortisone-type cream to it and if appears to have slowly gone away. It was an itchy-bumpy kind of rash.

I'm coming to the point of deciding whether to write a piece for The Daily Times detailing how the 48 weeks went. The problem is trying to decide what to focus on.

Grace and peace ...

Hi Buzz
I hope your Christmas went well and you enjoyed the family celebrations as well as your services.

Thank you for your recent encouragement about writing something myself on HepC - still thinking on it. I wish you well on your piece and hope you identify a focus without too much hassle.

Buzz, I wish you peace, happiness and good health in 2006

An "itchy-bumpy" rash? Does your English teacher know that you're using that kind of grammar?

I think that humor keeps a certain level of immunity in stock within each of us. It also provides a great wall of defense.

Hope I made you laugh. Laugh a lot just in case.
