Coming up on Week 12 ...
My week has sort of been going like this:
- Sunday morning -- Congregants tell me that on Sunday morning my color has been off until I start preaching, then picks back up. As for me, I feel OK physically on Sundays, but am a bit exhausted mentally.
- Mondays -- The past two Mondays I have experienced the flu-like symptoms, even to the point this last Monday of having to go over to the Broadway UMC and hit the couch for about an hour.
- Tuesdays -- Have still felt a little funky, but not nearly as bad as on Mondays.
- Wednesdays to Saturdays -- About midweek, I start picking up my energy again, which tends to peak on Thursday or Friday, before going back down again by Saturday evening.
Today, I received a fax on my latest blood work. The Neupogen seems to be doing the job with the white blood cells, while my red blood cells, hemoglobin, hematrocrit, MCV, MCHC, RDW and Platelets are all out of the reference range. Everything else except for the bilirubin is within normal range. Next week, I have the CBC, etc., done, along with the viral load.
Easter is the high point of the faith; next week is the high point of this part of my treatment journey.
Anyone who would feels led to pray for a good result, by all means do so.
Grace and peace ...
