JBH, Week 5: Counting down on prednisone
Well, I have two more doses of prednisone left: one-half tab on Tuesday, one-half tab on Thursday.
Some things never went away, such as the psoriasis patches on my knee and hand. They don't itch or anything; however, they look like scars. My shins look like they lost some muscle mass from the cellulitis and edema. Also, they seem to itch quite often. Not sure what that's all about.
Nonetheless, I'm blessed.
I think back to where I was a year ago. We had a Church Council meeting on Sunday and it ended a little after 6 p.m. I looked at Bill and Amy and noted that I would have been preparing for Week 2's shot and the possibility of chills, etc.
What a long, strange trip it's been.
It's not over, yet; still, I am extremely grateful to God and the Body of Christ that I've made it this far.
I guess I can ditch the sharps contianer now.
