Our AT-6 TEXAN is designed primarily for the Madera style racing but it can also be used in scale competition.  The model is built to GSARA minimum specifications and meets all requirement for giant scale AT-6 racing.  The Deluxe ARC kit features a top quality epoxyglass fuselage internally ribbed for greater torsional rigidity and an 11" diameter cowl which totally conceals the G .62.  The removable firewall and all the fuselage formers are laser cut and only require glueing into the fuselage after the firewall doubler have been fitted.  The three piece plug-in balsa sheeted foam core wing, with tips on and ailerons ready for hinging, features a unique epoxy/foam combination center section which bolts to the fuselage with four 1/4" steel bolts.  The Center Section is "retract ready" - and will accept Robart or Century Jet Retract Units.  The kit includes maple bearers and lighweight epoxy wheel wells.  A 44" long aluminum tube spar sliding in an epoxy tube installed in the center section at the factory supports the balsa sheeted outer wing panels.  The stab, elevator and rudder with scale-like aerodynamic balances, are completely built, sanded to shape and ready for hinging.  The stab fits to fairings molded in the fuselage.  The half round molding at the junction of the center section and the detachable outer wing panels is also molded in epoxy.
